Who We Are

Ric qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells.  He moved into management consulting, initially with Deloitte, subsequently Coopers & Lybrand, and later with KPMG and Brackenbury, working with leading retailers in grocery, variety stores, clothing, furniture and DIY, and with leading IT vendors. He has held executive appointments with Pentos (as Managing Director of Ryman), Laura Ashley and led the Management Buy Out of Fatty Arbuckles in 1998. He led the start up of EMP a digital media business in 2000 and is currently working as chief executive of Accipio, an on-line teaching business.

Ric leads Brackenbury’s transaction team.

 
 

Simon spent his early career in the consultancy arms of Arthur Andersen and then Coopers & Lybrand, working with some of the world’s foremost companies in the consumer sectors. He then moved to The Boots Group, and served as Group IT Director before moving into the role of Business Development Director.

He has had a career-long interest in learning and communication. Since 2001 he has been a Non-exec of the Healthcare Learning Company with particular responsibility for strategy. He conceived and founded Handbag.com the highly successful online women’s magazine and was Chairman from 1999 through to 2005.

Simon leads Brackenbury’s consulting activities.

 

Mash is in an entrepreneur focusing on Learning and Communication opportunities in a new media setting, he was responsible for setting up tests.com and acquiring and turning round Creation Station.

Mash began his career as a trainee journalist before moving to Video Arts where he became Sales and Distribution Director and was part of the senior management team at the time of its flotation. He then moved to Spring Group as the commercial director for one of the subsidiaries prior to being appointed as Group Marketing and Communications Director. In this later role he was responsible for launching the highly successful spring.com which was a re-engineering of the largest unit for the internet world.

Michael leads our media and communications practice.
